(Olympia, WA) – Olympia City Councilmember Jeff Kingsbury insults his constituents during a recent public hearing and more new details emerge in the Olympia City Council Email Scandal.

During a recent public hearing, Councilmember Kingsbury described a member of the audience as a “coward” from behind his laptop via email to the other Councilmembers.

The Olympia City Council’s until now hidden contempt for the verbally testifying Olympia voters in turn prompted the Washington State Attorney Generals Office to intervene on behalf of the insulted Olympia citizens which recently found the conduct of Olympia City Councilmembers to be in violation of the State of Washington’s Open Public Meetings Act.

How utterly shameful and pathetic for a member of the Olympia City Council to refer to another member of the Olympia community as a “coward” while under the cloak of anonymity during official public testimony..

A public apology to the Olympia community from Councilmember Jeff Kingsbury for his recent behavior is definitely past due, but sadly i doubt it will ever happen.

Shame On You, Councilmember Kingsbury, for violating the public trust of the Olympia Community.
